Swiftsign
UX/UI, End-to-End, Shipped Product
Swiftsign focuses on simplifying the tax form signing process between accountants and clients. I worked directly with the founder, CPA with 10+ years of experience in the industry, to design core product workflows, establish a scalable design system, and create user-facing interfaces.

Problem & Goals
Accountants were spending unnecessary time managing incomplete forms and chasing clients for signatures, due to workflows not designed specifically for tax documentation.
From the CPA’s side, keeping track of multiple clients can get overly complicated fast. Swiftsign helps keep CPA’s organized, and speeds up the process of sending and receiving forms.
From the client’s side, tax forms can be confusing. Swiftsign simplifies the process for the client.
While existing e-signature tools solved the technical problem of collecting signatures, they did not fully address the broader workflow and communication challenges accountants face during tax preparation.
My Role
As the sole designer on the project, I contributed across multiple areas of the product experience.
Responsibilities
Helped refine the initial brand direction and visual identity
Collaborated with a CPA to gather feedback and validate workflows
Created a reusable design system in Figma
Designed end-to-end signing workflows for tax forms
Built interactive prototypes for developer reference
Prepared organized developer handoff files and assets
Designed user facing website pages and supporting UI
Explored future concepts for an accountant management dashboard
Designing the Signing Experience
The primary focus of the project was creating a guided digital workflow for signing Power of Attorney form, which will eventually transition to signing other tax-related forms.
This process can be confusing for clients, and from the accountants side it is difficult to stay organized with multiple clients.
Key UX considerations included:
Clear progress indication
Step-by-step guidance
Simplified form interaction
Reduced ambiguity around required actions
Visual hierarchy that prioritized the current task
On CPA screens, clear organization of clients and form signing statuses
CPA View

Quick Send Flow
The “Quick Send” flow is already filled with the CPA’s information, and will autofill the client’s information from a contact, speeding up the flow for the CPA.
Blank 2848 Form Flow
The “Blank 2848 Form” flow provides the CPA with a completely blank form for them to fill out the information. This is intended if typical information will be changed.
CPA Signature
The CPA is notified when the client has signed the form and it is ready for them to sign. The process is quick and easy.

User Facing Screens
In addition to designing the core workflows, I also designed the user-facing marketing website to help drive customer acquisition.

Outcome
My work helped establish the visual and UX foundation for an early-stage startup product. I created reusable design systems, designed core signing workflows, and delivered organized developer-ready assets and prototypes.
Through ongoing collaboration with a CPA, the product evolved to better support real-world tax preparation workflows and create a clearer, more guided signing experience for clients.
